Kendo Kai Den Haag is affiliated with the Nederlandse Kendo Renmei (NKR). This is in the Netherlands, the government approved bond for kendo, iaido and jodo. The NKR is affiliated to the European and international kendofederaties and the Federatie Oosterse Gevechtskunsten (FOG).
The NKR organizes training, seminars, competitions and examinations for Kendo, Iaido and Jodo.
Members of Kendo Kai Den Haag should also be a member of the NKR and can therefore participate in these activities. They also receive four times a year the union magazine Zanshin.
